If the touchscreen display fails, first check whether the power supply of the control card is normal, whether the Windows driver installation is normal, and then confirm whether the touchscreen calibration under Windows is completed, whether the parameters in “TouchscreenControl” are correct, and whether the serial port is correct. Fault 1: The touch screen is not allowed

①Complete the installation of the driver software for the first time.
②After changing the resolution or display mode of the monitor every time.

④After adjusting the frequency of the controller every time.
⑤ Every time the cursor and the touch point cannot correspond.
After the calibration, there is no need to calibrate the screen every time the system is started, because the calibrated data has been automatically stored in the controller’s register.
Fault 2: The touch screen is not responding
Fault phenomenon: Touching any part of the screen with a finger does not respond, and the touch screen does not work properly.
Solution: When this fault occurs, first check the wiring interface to see if there is any looseness, and then check whether there is a conflict between the serial port and the interrupt number. If there is a conflict, adjust it to avoid the conflict. Then look at the surface of the touch screen for cracks and dirt. If there are cracks, replace it. If the dirt is there, wipe it off with a soft cloth. Finally, see if the indicator light on the control box is green and flashing, if it is, it means it is working normally.
If the above items are normal, then you need to check the problem of the touch screen, which can be detected by the replacement method, first replace the control box, then replace the touch screen, and finally replace the host. ②The serial port number does not correspond: It may be that the serial port number selected during the installation of the touch screen driver does not correspond to the actual connected serial port number, and the driver needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled.
③The driver is not compatible: It may be that the host is a domestic original machine, and the installed operating system is an OEM version, which has been adjusted by the manufacturer, resulting in non-standard serial communication and incompatibility with the touch display driver. If possible, please format the hard disk and drive the touch screen after reinstalling the system.
④The driver version is too low: install the latest driver.
⑤Conflict with serial port resources: The device in the host is in conflict with serial port resources, check each hardware device and make adjustments.
2. Resistive touch monitor
①Connection problem: Check whether the connection of the touch screen is correct, and whether one of the wires connected to the keyboard port of the host computer (take 5V working voltage of the touch screen from the keyboard port) is connected, please check the connection.
②Whether the control box is broken: If the touch screen control box light does not light up or the red light is on, it means that the control box is broken and needs to be replaced.
③If none of the above situations exist, you can delete the touch screen driver and restart the computer to reinstall the driver, or upgrade the driver to a higher version.
4. Conflict with serial port resources: The device in the host is in conflict with the serial port resources, check each hardware device and make adjustments. If the computer motherboard and the touch display control box are not compatible, please replace the host or motherboard.

Fault 4: The touch screen is partially unresponsive

Fault 7. No response to touch after using for a period of time

Solution: In the “Display Energy Saving Settings” of Wlndows9x, check whether the hard disk is set to be turned off. Fault 9: The touch screen cannot be calibrated
Fault phenomenon: a touch screen, the calibration operation cannot be carried out.
①It is possible that before the host starts to load the touch screen driver, the touch screen control card receives the operation signal, please power off the computer, restart the computer and re-calibrate.
②It may be that the touch screen driver is installed abnormally, please delete the driver and reinstall it. (Remove from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. )
Fault 10: The mouse keeps staying on a certain point of the touch screen
Fault phenomenon: a touch screen, the mouse has been staying at a certain point, unable to move.
Solution: This happens because the touch area of the resistive screen is pressed by the display casing or the cabinet casing, which is equivalent to being touched at a certain point. Fault 11: The touch screen display is unstable

Solution: The reason for this situation may be that the color mode setting is incorrect under 2000 system operation, or the screen is not released properly because the screws are too tight when installing the touch screen.
