What is the reason for the blurry screen of the touch monitor? Five tricks to teach you to easily get.

Monitor Flickering is one of the common faults in the use of LCD monitors. Just like no one can’t get sick, no monitor can’t fail. The monitor is composed of multiple accessories, so where do you start to find the cause of the monitor’s blurry screen? What should I do about the monitor’s blurry screen?

The display screen can be detected first in the following order:

The first trick: Check whether the connection between the monitor and the graphics card is loose. The most common phenomenon is the appearance of “clutter” and “clutter”-shaped screens caused by poor contact.

The second trick: Check whether the graphics card is overclocked. If the graphics card is overclocked, irregular, intermittent stripes will generally appear. At this time, the overclocking amplitude should be appropriately reduced. Note that the first thing to do is to lower the memory frequency.

The third trick: check the quality of the graphics card. If the problem of blurred screen occurs after replacing the graphics card, and the first and second measures fail to work, you should check whether the anti-electromagnetic interference and electromagnetic shielding quality of the graphics card pass the test. The specific method is: install some components that may generate electromagnetic interference as far as possible from the graphics card (such as hard disk), and then see if the blurred screen disappears. If it is determined that the electromagnetic shielding function of the graphics card is not good enough, you should replace the graphics card or make a self-made shield.

The fourth trick: Check whether the display resolution or refresh rate is set too high. The resolution of the liquid crystal display is generally lower than that of the CRT display. If it exceeds the best resolution recommended by the manufacturer, the phenomenon of blurred screen may occur.

The fifth trick: Check if an incompatible graphics card driver is installed. This situation is generally overlooked, because graphics card drivers are updated faster and faster (especially NVIDIA graphics cards), and some users are always eager to install the latest version of the driver. In fact, some of the latest drivers are either beta versions or versions optimized for a specific graphics card or game, and using these drivers can sometimes lead to blurry screens. Therefore, it is recommended that you try to use the driver certified by Microsoft, preferably the driver provided by the graphics card manufacturer.

If the above five steps have not solved the problem of the display screen, then carefully check which degree of the screen is below:

Case 1: the display water ripples flicker

The main reason for the flickering of water ripples on the display is caused by the wire, which can also be said to be one of the common faults. Generally, there are three common lines used by the host to connect the monitor: VGA line, DVI line, HDMI line, and the uncommon DP line. Except for the DP line, which is quite expensive, the other three lines are relatively cheap, and the quality of most of the line materials is no problem. But if you still have the chance to catch poor quality wire.

Case 2: the monitor is blurred and black

The host has been turned on, other devices have no problem, the monitor has also been powered on, the power indicator indicates standby, but the monitor is not on. If your monitor is blank and the power light is not on, check that the power cord is plugged in. If the power supply is sure to be plugged in, replace the power cord. If it doesn’t work after changing the power cord, then your monitor must have a hardware failure.

Case 3: Colored lines appear on the display

In fact, to solve this problem, we must first know that there are two main reasons for the appearance of colored lines: First, if it is a full-screen colored line, or a colored line that appears with the change of the display content, usually their positions are not fixed. , generally does not fill the entire screen, most of which are caused by graphics card problems, such as overheating video memory or driver errors.

The general solution is to reinstall and set the graphics card driver. If the graphics card is overclocked, please reduce it back to the rated power. At the same time, clean the graphics card fan or heat sink and strengthen the heat dissipation of the chassis.

Secondly, if there are one or more lines covering the entire screen, even if the displayed content changes, the position and color of the lines do not change. Usually it can only be sent to the manufacturer for repair.

Case 4: There are two vertical black bands on the edge of the display

This phenomenon mostly occurs on relatively early computers, which is caused by insufficient video memory of the graphics card. The video memory of the earlier computer graphics card is only 1M. If the resolution is set too high, the above phenomenon will occur. To solve this problem, you can add video memory to the graphics card. Generally, there are sockets for adding video memory on such graphics cards.

Case 5: the display screen shakes badly

The screen shakes a lot, and sometimes even the icons and text can’t be seen clearly, but it will return to normal after a minute or two. This phenomenon mostly occurs in humid weather, because the inside of the display gets damp. To solve this problem completely, use the moisture-proof sand in the food packaging to string it with cotton thread, then open the back cover of the monitor, and hang the moisture-proof sand on the end of the tube neck of the picture tube near the tube seat. In this way, even in wet weather, the above “problems” will not appear again.
